Section One - Vantage Points
(South Haven opposite the end of the South West Coastal Path, Sandbanks ferry and Salterns.)

A. South Haven.	Fine views across to Brownsea's site of 347 Battery and NW up to Patchins Point at Arne.
B. Brownsea Ferry Pier.	Flying Boats Trotway No. 3 and Brownsea Road where FB Control Vessel was moored in 1940.
C. Old Coastguard Road.	10 RNAS Sandbanks Guardroom. Shoreline viewpoint to Brownsea etc from footpath 109.
D. Royal Motor Yacht Club.	RNAS Sandbanks (Seaplanes) and fine views over RMYC basin from footpath 82 to the Foreshore 765 Squadron Fleet Air Arm. RNAS Offices, Cabins and Kitchens - in the RMYC clubhouse 766 Squadron Fleet Air Arm - Seaplane pool. Parade Ground in the RMYC car park.
E. Panorama Road (4 premises).	RNAS Sandbanks.. 'Cama' & 'The Moorings' are Ratings quarters; 'Fowey Cottage' is sick bay and 'Belle Holme' is Petty Officers' mess
F. Harbour Heights Hotel + Harbour Court	Stopovers for VIPs, BOAC passengers (note: best views of the Harbour from the hotel terrace FB Officers' Quarters BOAC
G. Brudenell Avenue - 'Brudenell House' - 'Bransdene'	FB Officers' Mess - Flying Boats Staff Quarters WAAF Officers' Billet
H. Evening Hill	Views ranging from Sandbanks to Salterns, Poole, the Wareham Channel and across to Arne

Section Two - Vantage Points
(Elms Estate and Parkstone Bay (or via Ashley Cross) to Poole's West Quay)

J. Shore Views via Foot- path 76 from Elms Ave.	Wych X and Y Trots + Divers channel Trotways and FB Moorings.
K. Shoreline viewpoint from Parkstone Yacht Club via FP 88 (Turks Lane	Trotways Nos 2 North and South and FB moorings.
L.* Castle Hill. -'Merrion' -'Streeton Court. Springfield Road -'Varenna'	Sites of WAAF Hostels
M.* 43, Parkstone Road 51 Parkstone Road	Flyingboats/BOAC Station HQs and operations centre (both now replaced by flats).
N. Baiter Point	View of Trotways Nos 1 & 2N/S
O. Poole Town Quay.	Handled all the cargo and mail.
P. Poole Pottery (Quay site)	Flyingboats/BOAC security and customs (in the formerPP showrooms)
Q. Wesy Quay Road (Merck site).	Flyingboats/BOAC launch depot.

Section Three. Viewing Points
(New Quay by Poole Yacht Club (or) Hamworthy Park through to Rockley Point

R.* Shoreline East to PYC	Views of Trotway No 1 and Trotway H (+beach scapyard for for 'City of Liverpool' and 'Solway'
S. Royal Marine's Slipway	RAF Hamworthy slipway now the Royal Marines' base.
T. Lake Drive.	RAF Hamworthy HQs. Military flyingboats.
U. Lake by Ham Common.	Lake fuel depot and pier. HMS Turtle - Lake Com and Lake camp at Rockley
V. Rockley Viewpoint.	Views over Wareham Channel. Trots A, B and P - also C and M up Wareham Channel.

Section 4. Viewing Points.
(From Wareham to Arne, Middlebere and Ower, returning via South Haven.)

W. Shipstall Point	View over Trot R North and Trot R South. (+area of the WW2 Danger Zoze to South Haven)
X. Arne Village.	Decoy to lure bomber away from Poole (*Harbour's south side used to train Allied forces)
Y. Middlebere	Fine views from the Hump - with its Harrier hide and weather stationover to Round Island.
Z. Foreshore at Ower Quay	View of Hamworthy and Poole Quays (then via Bridleways past Newton, Greenland to South Haven.

Notes: L and M are listed as Optional as these are well away from the Harbour. R awaits the promised footbridge over the railway.
