Share our events news with friends & family
Marking 65 years since the set-up of BOAC’s ‘Dragon Route’ to Hong Kong, with a special Valentine’s & Chinese New Year Celebration. An entertaining demonstration by Poole’s own Chinese Celebrity Chef Andy Chu, and a mouth watering Chinese Meal, all for just £20 a head!

- The 70th Anniversary of RAF Hamworthy - we look forward to making many new Friends during the celebrations.
- The Centennial year of the first flight (made in Dorset) of a Seaplane from a moving warship with Lt. Commander Sampson.
- 65 years since the start of BOAC’s ‘Dragon Route’ to Hong Kong via Singapore operating the Flying Boats based at Poole - services commenced on 24th August 1946 with G-AGHW Hamilton (see below).
